To make a building smart, we equip it with a multitude of sensors and actuators that activate a range of passive building components and installations.

These include metering equipment that measures the consumption of utilities in real time, as well as temperature sensors, air quality sensors, presence detectors, motion and daylight sensors, sensors that detect the status of dock doors (open/closed/malfunction) and dock levellers, pumps, oil separators, leak detectors, etc.

All these sensors generate a series of data (Big Data) that is processed, which we integrate and digitise as DOMICA. (Energy monitoring, preventive and predictive maintenance).
